Arts Society Sedgemoor – Stylish Times: Art Deco Design in our area.

Art Deco design from the 1920s and 30s is immediately recognisable; rapid redevelopment between the world wars saw it spread, while the expanding film industry used this new style for its ‘picture palaces’. 

The Arts Society Sedgemoor talk for June examines this unique style of architecture with illustrations from all around the world, including buildings near here.

The 7th June talk is at the 37 Club (between Woolavington and Puriton) at 2:00pm for a 2:15pm start. Visitors welcome, at a charge of £8. Full details on our website theartssocietysedgemoor.org.uk
