Spring Term for B&HCS

Spring Term for B&HCS Starting Thursday 9th January. Anyone who enjoy singing, this is a wonderful opportunity to join B&HCS for their Spring term, to sing the Messiah with them at their concert in April.
They meet every Thursday 7:30pm to 9:30pm with a coffee/tea break in between. Held at the Methodist Church Hall, College Street, Burnham. All levels of singers are welcome, especially tenor and bass voices. There are no auditions, and if you read music, that is a bonus, but it’s not necessary.

Burnham Community Centre’s Monthly Coffee Morning Welcomes You.
We have our first coffee morning of 2025 on Saturday 4th January from 10:00am – 12 noon, at the Community Centre, next door to the swimming pool TA8 1ET.
Funds are in aid of the centre, and is used by many local groups in the area. 
Tea/coffee, (free refill) cakes, raffle, crafts, and hand painted cards are available.

Family and friends have now gone home. Are things feeling flat for you? We at West Huntspill Methodist Chapel, invite you to join us at our Coffee Morning which we are holding on Friday 3rd January, 10:30am till 12 noon. No sales tables this time, just tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits and friendly chat. Any donations will be for “Action for Children”. We will be having our normal end of the month coffee morning on Friday 31st January.

East Brent Film Club at the Village Hall.
Our film for January is ‘Ticket to Paradise’ on Friday 3rd January. Doors open at 6:30pm, which gives you time to grab a drink and snack from our interesting selection, before the 7:00pm start. Tickets are £5.00 on the door (cash only please). Bring a cushion for extra comfort and a great start to the New Year!
PS – Our February film will be ‘Mrs Harris Goes to Paris’ on Friday 7th February!

A Chance To Renew Your Love Of Table Tennis. A friendly bunch of keen players are seeking more like minded folk to join us at the Bay Centre, Cassis Close on Fridays, 2:00pm – 4:00pm on our 2 tables. Whilst competitive, enjoyment is always more important! Small monthly fee, tea and bix provided. Even if not recently, ideally you’ll have played before to a reasonable standard and we’ll soon have you up and running! We look forward to seeing you.

Berrow and Brean Good Neighbours Community Hubs and Cafes. Join us weekly at our community hubs where we enjoy having a chat and delicious refreshments.

Berrow Hub – Tuesdays, Berrow Village Hall, 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

Brean Hub – Thursdays, Brean Village Hall, 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

Citizens Advice attend Berrow every 2nd Tuesday and Brean every 4th Thursday. Our Village Agent attends both hubs on the 3rd week of the month.

If you would like to meet new people to talk to in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, come and join us! There is no charge but you can make donations if you wish.
