We are a friendly WI, who meet the 4th Tuesday of the month, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Sea Cadets Hall, Cassis Close, Burnham-on-Sea TA8 1NN. Please come along to see what we have to offer.

Fun Quiz Night, Saturday 29th June, 7:00pm at East Huntspill Church Hall. £4 per person, to include nibbles. Please bring your own drink. Teams of 4. Bring a team or come along and make one up on the night. Everyone welcome.

Serendipity Singers present their Annual Concert on 22nd June, 3:00pm at the Highbridge Community Hall, Market Street, Highbridge TA9 3BP. Tickets in advance from Secret World Charity shop, choir members or on the door £6 each which includes free refreshments in the interval. The concert is in aid of Secret World Wildlife Rescue.

Strawberry Tea – Saturday 22nd June 3:00pm at East Huntspill Church Hall. Delicious Strawberries and Cream with cakes. Come and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea with good friends.

3rd Thursday… Feeding Body and Soul at St. Andrews Church, Burnham on Sea, 2:30pm on the third Thursday of each Month.
Short monthly service followed by afternoon tea. Open to all & dementia friendly. Why not join us in our lovely church for a friendly service & a nice chat over a cuppa with cake & sandwiches. Free & inclusive to all. 2024 dates: 20th June, 18th July, 19th Sept, 17th Oct, 21st Nov, 19th Dec.

North Sedgemoor Local History Group Meeting 12th June.

John Strickland will be giving us a presentation titled “The Public Opening of the Somerset Central Railway, 28th August 1852”.

Flower Arranging Demonstration by Angie Blackwell of Cottage Flowers, Ilminster. Tuesday 18th June, 10:30am at St Peter and All Hallows Church, West Huntspill TA9 3RN.
Angie will be showing us tips and guidance in arranging flowers in a more sustainable way by avoiding using Floral Foam.

Burnham on Sea & District Horticultural Society’s next meeting at The Community Centre, Berrow Road, Burnham on Sea is 7:00pm for 7:30pm on Monday 17th June.
“Hints for entering flower shows – how to exhibit flowers and vegetables”. Be a judge for the evening and see what it takes. All welcome. Members £1.00. Visitors £2.00.

East Huntspill Cake Sale on Saturday 15th June, 10:30am at East Huntspill Church Hall. Delicious home made cakes. In aid of All Saints Church, East Huntspill.

Burnham Area Flower Club’s next meeting will be Tuesday 11th June at the Catholic Church Hall, Oxford Street, Burnham on Sea. Demonstrator for the evening is Denise Bright from Templecombe with her demonstration titled “Joys of the Season”. Doors open 7:00pm, come along and have a tea/coffee and a chat before the meeting starting at 7:30pm.
